Job Duties & Responsibilities
As a PET/CT Research Collaboration Scientist, your key responsibilities include:
- Managing scientific collaborations at luminary institutions and driving collaborative projects leading to publications, external grant applications, and/or patent applications.
- Identifying, building, and supporting strong collaborative relationships with key thought leaders in the region.
- Maintaining clinical and technical expertise – collaborating with both internal development teams and research partners for the development, evaluation, and testing of new prototypes and products.
- Keeping customers and partners updated about United Imaging’s technologies.
- Drafting, negotiating, and managing research contracts with legal, regulatory, and compliance support.
- Tracking milestones and deliverables of research projects.
- Maintaining budget assessments and contributing to internal strategic budget planning.
- Effectively communicating with United Imaging’s internal colleagues and leadership.
Qualification & Requirements
- MSc and/or PhD in Medical Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
- Strong clinical and technical background in PET/CT with a proven record of scientific publications.
- Proven experience leading research projects and collaborations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Professional proficiency in English (fluency in French is a plus).
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% within Europe, including short-term international trips.
