Job Duties & Responsibilities

As a PET/CT Research Collaboration Scientist, your key responsibilities include:

  • Managing scientific collaborations at luminary institutions and driving collaborative projects leading to publications, external grant applications, and/or patent applications.
  • Identifying, building, and supporting strong collaborative relationships with key thought leaders in the region.
  • Maintaining clinical and technical expertise – collaborating with both internal development teams and research partners for the development, evaluation, and testing of new prototypes and products.
  • Keeping customers and partners updated about United Imaging’s technologies.
  • Drafting, negotiating, and managing research contracts with legal, regulatory, and compliance support.
  • Tracking milestones and deliverables of research projects.
  • Maintaining budget assessments and contributing to internal strategic budget planning.
  • Effectively communicating with United Imaging’s internal colleagues and leadership.

Qualification & Requirements

  • MSc and/or PhD in Medical Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Strong clinical and technical background in PET/CT with a proven record of scientific publications.
  • Proven experience leading research projects and collaborations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Professional proficiency in English (fluency in French is a plus).
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% within Europe, including short-term international trips.
